These pics are of a little photo shoot my mom and i had done last summer.  It cracks me up that we look so sweet in this pretty meadow.....it was our last spot and we'd been having major giggles and being crazy the whole time!  That's how we roll ;)

May Scraptastic Kit

I'm a bit late bragging up this kit.....but this month is getting away from me.  Life has been busy, some good things but some bad things too and it's been a heartbreaking week.  I'm feeling emotionally exhausted right now.  But scrapping is very therapeutic for me and I'm hoping to ignore everything and spend a few days scrapping come Monday ;)

I started the month off with our first challenge on the blog......using pennants and flags on a layout.  If you want to play along you can load them here ;)

 These pics are of Jack at Easter "smiling" for me ;)  hahahaa!!

 For this one I loved the little feathers and thought it would be fun to dangle them from the twine.  These pics are also from Easter of my beautiful Samantha girl....actually, they are the week after because she ended up sick on Easter and couldn't wear her new dress till the next Sunday.

These dish towels are made from flour sack cloths that I embellish with cute fabric  (it's almost like scrapbooking!)  They are large (aprox. 29x28) and perfect for decor or actually drying dishes!

These pics of our little Jack crack me up.....he was not happy about being put in that yellow duck!  But as you can see, he got over it.

This one of Samantha tells quite a story too!  It was her first time on Splash Mnt. at Disneyland and she was a wild little girl and couldn't wait to try it.......she got SOAKED!!!!  Drenched is more like it....did that 5 year old cry????  Heck no!  She partied and hooped and hollered and thought it was the best ride ever!!!!  She has been a roller coaster monster ever since ;)  Though it was a Dec. evening and there was NO way those clothes were going to dry.  Guess who got to buy the most expensive outfit ever in the park??!!

Sewing on Paper

I've got a blog post up over at Scraptastic about how I sew on my pages,

I am loving this kit...it's so pretty and funky with lots of cool bits.  Those bubble stamps, fun!  Jessica might just be turning me into a stamper, a subtle one anyways.
